After graduating from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury with a Bachelor of Science in biology, Amit K. Sanghi, DO, graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury and completed a radiology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Prior to his residency, he served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Army in Sinai, Egypt.
Dr. Sanghi is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Radiologic Society of North America. He most recently served as chief of MRI and CT at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina, and as an associate professor for radiology at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Sanghi is also a major in the U.S. Army Reserves with 11 years of active-duty service.
